So there's this fun little meme (do they still call it that?) going around right now & I thought I'd try it! It's all about accents, and since I think Southerners have the lock on accents (for American dialects, anyway) I figured, why not! Since blogs are only usually written, I think it's pretty cool to see how we all talk! Enjoy :)

Ok, we pretty much talk exactly alike EXCEPT for peeeecAn! Yes, that is the correct pronunciation down here in South Ga!

To answer the questions:
Covering a house in toilet paper is TP'ing. (I think your video is the first time I've ever heard it called something else.)
The curling bug: pill bug, sow bug, or rolly polly. It just depends.
The bubbly carbonated drink? Soda.
Gym shoes? sneakers, gym shoes, tennis shoes, athletic shoes, basket-ball shoes, it varies depending on the style of the shoe.
Addressing a group of people? You, you all or y'all. It varies.
The long-legged spiders? Daddy long legs
What do I call my grandparents? My mom's mom is Grandma, My mom's dad was Grampa (occasionally with 1st name as well for both). My dad's folks are Gramma & Grandaddy.
The wheeled thing for grocery toting? It varies. Shopping Cart, Basket, or occasionally Buggy. Rarely Cart without the word shopping in front. The buggy barn is the pipe-framed structure in the parking lot where you are supposed to put your shopping cart when you leave.
Rain & Sun at the same time? Unusual. Don't have a phrase for it.
What's the thing to operate the tv with? Remote or Clicker.
